We understand that the information you trust us with is important to you and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We want our policy to be jargon free and straight forward. We hope the following information will give you all the information you need. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.

What information do we have?

If you have commissioned work form us, booked an appointment for us to visit you regarding a commission, placed an order with us or booked one of our courses, workshops or taster days we will have you name, address and possibly your email address and telephone number if you have given us them.

If you have paid us via our website or card machine in the Studio or Gallery, your details are handled by our secure checkout. If you have booked a course, workshop or taster day this way you will have given us your name and address, if you have paid via our card machine we will have your name as it appears on your card but in either case we will not have any card dtails other than the amount you have paid.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will have provided your name and email address, our newsletter and mailing list is processed via MailChimp and they keep privacy high on their agenda too and you will have had the opportunity to read their privacy policy when you signed up for our newsletter.

We only have information that you have given us directly and that you have given us your consent to use.

How do we use your information?

We use your information to contact you regarding orders, commissions, glass classes and events and activities we may be running at the studio and gallery. If you receive our newsletter it is because you have requested to be kept up to date with our courses, workshops and taster days and have subscribed.

Do we share or sell you information to anyone?

Definitely not. A big NO.

What information do we collect from the website?

See 'Cookies' lower down the page - we certainly do not collect any personal details of any of our visitors, only information about visitors browsing activities on the website (in other words it helps us see what interests our visitors most, which pages get the most clicks and if anyone is really looking at our website).

Keeping your information safe

We work hard to keep your information safe and secure, keeping our own system security up to date at all times.

Retaining your information

If at any time you decide that you do not want us to keep any or all of the information you have given us, contact us and we will delete the information immediately.

If y have subscribed to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe or change your emailing preferences at any time either by following a link at the bottom of one of our newsletters or contacting us directly and we can make any alterations you want.

Yes, we use Cookies …. they aren’t scary & we want you to be aware we use them and what we use them for.

We use Analytics to monitor the usage & success of our website, to do this we use cookies to monitor visitor interactions while on our website. They are used to collect information such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, what site referred the visitor to the web page & it’s for our eyes only (that’s just the two of us). It allows us to discover what information or pages on our website interests you most.  We use this information purely to improve our website.  We do not collect, store or share any personal information about our website visitors. 

Cookies are files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to the device you use when you visit a website.  The cookies are then sent back to the website each time you visit, this enables us to get a true picture of how many new or returning visitors we get on our website.  We don’t use them to target you with mountains of advertising …. we would hate that too.
